Tesla Model S: Module - Condenser Fan Control - LH (Remove and Replace)

Tesla Model S (2012-2025) Service Manual / Electrical / Module - Condenser Fan Control - LH (Remove and Replace)

Warning: If the vehicle has air suspension, activate "Jack" mode on the touchscreen before raising and supporting the vehicle.

Removal

  1. Raise and support the vehicle (refer to procedure)
  2. Remove front lower wheel arch liner (refer to procedure)
  3. Disconnect harness connectors (x2) from LH fan control module.
  4. Remove nuts (x2) securing LH fan control module to chassis rail (torque 8 Nm).

    Module - Condenser Fan Control - LH (Remove and Replace)

  5. Remove LH fan control module.
Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
