Raise the alignment platform until it is clear
of all 4 rack locks.
Lower the alignment platform onto the rack
locks and ensure that it is level.
Secure all 4 alignment

Lane Assist provides steering interventions if Model S
drifts into (or close to) an adjacent lane in which an
object, such as a vehicle, is detected. In these situations,
Model S automatically steers to a safer position in the

Folding Mirrors at Specific
Locations
In addition to having mirrors fold automatically
whenever you park Model S, you can fold (and unfold)
mirrors anytime your driving speed is less than 31 mph
(50 km/h). This is useful for parking in tight spaces. To
do so, touch Controls > Fold Mirrors.
