Opening
To open the front trunk, ensure Model S is in Park, and
then do one of the following before pulling the hood
open:
Touch Controls > Frunk on the touchscreen.
Double-click the front trunk butto
Interior Emergency Release
An illuminated interior release button inside the front
trunk allows a person locked inside to get out.
Press the interior release button to open the front trunk,
then push up on the hood.

Removal
Remove the front door mirror assembly (refer to procedure).
Carefully release the quarter glass from the seal and frame.
Installation
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.
'B' Post Trim Panel - LH (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Open both LH doors.
Remove clips (x2) securing 'B' post finisher to body.
Caution: Protect exterior paint surfaces during this
procedure.
