Removal Position the vehicle so that there is full access to the driver's door. Lower the window. Open the door for access. Remove the screws (x3) that secure the trim pad to the door. Note: Two of the screws are concealed by the door handle insert (torque 3 Nm) and

Removal Remove the IP carrier (refer to procedure). Remove the center console (refer to procedure). Remove the nuts (x2) that secure the driver knee airbag. Retain the washers (x2). Disconnect the harness connector and remove the airbag from the vehicle (torque 10.5 Nm).
