Removal

  1. Open the luggage compartment.
  2. Release the seal from luggage compartment surround. Note: Components have been removed in this graphic to aid clarity.
  3. Remove the seal from the vehicle.

Installation

Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal Ensure that the front road wheels are in a straight ahead position. Remove the driver's side lower dash trim (refer to procedure). Remove the steering controller module (refer to procedure). Disconnect the steering column motor harness connectors (x2).

     Ankle Catcher Assembly (Remove and Replace)

    Removal Remove the front fascia (refer to procedure). Remove the bolts (x2) that secure the center of the ankle catcher to the front ducting (torque 4 Nm). Remove the bolts (x4) that secure the ankle catcher to the
