While sitting inside Model S, you can lock and unlock all
doors and trunks by touching the lock icon in Controls.

icon changes to indicate whether
doors are locked or unlocked.

Before Using Summon
Before operating Summon, use the touchscreen to
enable it and customize how you want it to work. Touch
Controls > Autopilot > Customize Summon and adjust
the following settings to suit your preferences:
Bumper Clearance: Set the distance that you want
Summon to stop from a detected obje
Speaker - Rear Door All, Front Door Base Audio (Remove and Replace)
Removal
Remove rear door trim panel (refer to procedure)
Disconnect speaker harness connector.
Note: Components have been removed in this graphic
to aid clarity.
Remove screws (x4) securing speaker to rear door (torque 1.8
Nm).
