Tesla Model S: Pivot Lock - Seat back - 2nd Row Seat - RH (Remove and Replace)

Removal

  1. Remove rear seat back rest assembly (refer to procedure)
  2. Remove E-clip securing pivot lock.

    Pivot Lock - Seat back - 2nd Row Seat - RH (Remove and Replace)

  3. Slide pivot lock from backrest frame.
Installation Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

    Removal Remove the panoramic roof sliding glass (refer to procedure). Remove the LH sunroof motor (refer to procedure). Note: If performing this procedure on the RH side, remove the RH sunroof motor (refer to procedure)

     Pre-Tensioner - Outboard Lap - 1st Row - LH (Remove and Replace)

    Removal Disconnect 12V power. Rear wheel drive (RWD): Refer to procedure. Dual Motor: Refer to procedure. Use a trim tool to carefully release the anchor bolt cap from the inboard upper pre-tensioner cover.
