Tesla Model S: LF Antenna - RH - A Post (Remove and Replace)
Warning: If the vehicle has air suspension, activate "Jack"
mode on the touchscreen before raising and supporting the vehicle.
Removal
- Raise and support the vehicle (refer to procedure)
- Remove RH front wheel arch liner for access (refer to procedure)
- Locate LF antenna and disconnect harness connector.
- Remove screws (x2) securing LF antenna to body (torque 8 Nm).
- Remove LF antenna from vehicle.
Installation
Installation procedure is the reverse of removal.

(torque 1 Nm).

Depress button and fold 60% part of seat back forward.

Remove the 2nd row back rest assembly (refer to procedure).
Dual Motor vehicles only: Release the fasteners
(x4) that secure the inline fuse bracket to the seat frame (torque 5
Nm).
Note: The desiccant bag in the receiver dryer is a
serviceable item and must be replaced every 2 years, whenever the
system is opened to ambient air for an extended time, or when an A/C
system leak has been fixed.
Note: The dessicant is located in the RH condenser.
