Model S has the following types of airbags:
Front airbags: The front airbags are designed to
reduce injuries if larger children or adults are riding in
the front seats. Follow all warnings
Model S has an occupancy sensor in the front passenger seat that controls the
status of the front airbag.
NOTE: The occupancy classification system (OCS) meets the regulatory
requirement of FMVSS 20

Removal
Remove underhood storage unit for access (refer to procedure)
Position hoses aside for access.
Remove screw securing compressor ambient air temperature sensor
(torque 2.5 Nm).
Disconnect sensor harness lead.
Rotate harness connector and release from bracket.
Note: This procedure describes how to remove and replace
the 1st generation rear view mirror. If the vehicle is equipped with
a 2nd generation rear view mirror, refer to procedure 15050502 (refer
to procedure).
Removal
Cover the dash assembly to avoid damage.
